1125r headlights and front fairing & windscreen on a firebolt, has ne1 seen a write up? if not, will it work?

Its do able. AL from american sport bike has a full 1125R front fairing on his Uly. Looks pretty cool.

Werent you on a budget? How does this help out run the popo?

the runner is in the works...this is for flash and flair...still on a budget, gotta work out all the repaiars on this one, then its on to flesh out the shopping list for the track bike

... ... ... hence the name chosen...maybe if folks would pay attention to what is written instead of being all wrapped up in making fun of them, maybe, JUST MAYBE, yall might have noticed that I have chosen to build 2 bikes...one of which will only carry the appearance of being street legal and the other will just end up a neck snapping head turner...IN THE LONG RUN...love how no one has noticed that last bit yet...

Oh we noticed, but you dont have 2 bikes. Or money apparently. No one really wants to give you advice and info on doing stupid things or towards something you cant or wont do anyways

again there u go reading for what u want to see...I didn't SAY that I HAVE 2 BIKES...I said I have DECIDED TO BUILD 2 BIKES...your ability to form an appropriate insult hinges on your ability to follow a conversation...scroll back up and try again, the truth is in black and white, not between your ears...I have plans, they will take a good deal of time, I have chosen to do things one step at a time (and more sensibly one bike at a time), and obviously a camera is the last thing on my list...try to live on minimum wage for a while and you will learn how and why I am going about this the only way I can afford to for now...1)build shopping list 2)gain technical knowledge as needed 3)save up and acquire parts and/or bikes when and where able 4)install parts upon delivery 5)test, tune, paint, and enjoy 6)brag like the rest of the world does about the things they enjoy...estimated time of completion: 7-10 YEARS...no that's not a typo

that is if the cancer doesn't kill me first, but that for a different forum/msg board...
I wont feel sympathy for you, not because its you/personal. But there has to be population control somehow, cancer is one of natures ways. But lets be realistic, it probably more than likely, wont be the cancer that gets you, itll be you running from the popo at 160mph... Over a brake light out.

try to live on minimum wage for a while and you will learn how and why I am going about this the only way I can afford to for now...
Why you make min, i dont know or care. Im not rich either. Sounds to me like you plan to continue making minimum for the next 7-10 years. I dont wanna know your sob sad story. This is an internet forum for technical information, enthusiast, group activities, selling/trading, and occassionally some fun off topic discussions. Plz hang out read and post all you want, just contribute something worth a damn to the community. IMO that should be sell your Buell to someone. So far your threads are stupid, un helpful, your questions arent aimed properly IE: this thread, asking for another thread about fairing swaps. How about you just ask how to do the swap?

Ill happily help where i can if its worth it.

why bother askin how to do it when kind souls like yourself simply suggest looking for a previous thread? got a better idea: instead of bashing some random guy u don't know and will most likely never meat, hows about acknowledging the fact that I did ask if it would work? a simple yes or no would do just fine, and if the answer is "yes" and you have a bit of helpful insight into the matter, it would seem a bit more appropriate to include it if you were if in fact willing to stick to the nature of the forum as per the example you have given...with that thought in mind, will it work?

As for how it was done, im not sure. But doubt its difficult. The similarities between the 1125 and XB models is actually a lot. Tail fairing and air boxes are exactly the same as the R models, bet the front fairing stay nearly just bolts on, then its a matter if some wiring and instrument cluster mounting.

I noticed that and those are very interesting points, one thing I haven't noticed for sale or even am image of is the fairing stay for the 1125 not able to find anything to help me form an idea in that direction...if they are the same that would make it super easy to do, because wiring harnesses aren't too hard to make compatible or replace with basic male/female connecters. google images aint helping much on this one, did find this one ( 18090 - Fairing Stay, 1125R, Fusion Bronze) through ASB but cant tell much about how it mounts to the frame. should I just try to find a cheap used not TOO shabby 1125 fairing for mock up and get creative from there?

cool cool! thanks for the help heagachongoose! my original Idea was to simply swap the headlights and fairing because I like the look of the 1125 headlights over the look of the firebolt's dual round setup with the owl like bezels. i just think the have a cleaner look.

Do you have a picture of this buell you say you have?
why should i bother when all ur gonna say is that its a random stock pic from google images or jacked from another website? yea i got ONE pic of it for now, but no i wont post it bc i don't know you and its evidence in a vandalism claim with my insurance company...when that is settled yes ill post it along with others...until then, if all ur gonna do is bash folks because they posted a thread and you asked a question to which they replied with honesty and now your stalking them and trashtalking bc u didn't appreciate a bit of truth in regards to something u had no insight on to begin with, well im sure theres a Facebook page for that...

lol someone get there feelings hurt? Over the internet its hard to believe and its very easy to go take a picture with a paper or what have you. Sorry but you have already made your self sound like a bunch of talk with no backing. The family here is one that wants to see the proof and doesnt like the bs you talk and bring.

like i said
yea i got ONE pic of it for now, but no i wont post it bc i don't know you and its evidence in a vandalism claim with my insurance company...when that is settled yes ill post it along with others
if your THAT impatient, that would be your fault and your problem...between now and then, ill continue searching this forum for any and all information i need, and on the rare few occasions when i cant find what i am looking for ill ask if anyone has seen it or heard of it before...try to stop me if you want, but i have yet to see where this page requires a VIN# or pic or even a fee to register for unlike so many other forums and owners message boards i have had to search for other vehicles i have owned in the past...

I bet he will be able to build a xb to run 160mph, come on guys give him some slack.

Should have started with an 1125.... :D Not that I condone it on public roads, but you can get there in three shakes of a lambs tail.

you can get there in three shakes of a lambs tail.

I can honestly say I've never shook a lambs tail three times. In fact I've never shook a lambs tail at all. Does this include the time it takes to retrieve the lamb's tail? Or is it just purely the shaking??

I'm curious though buck, what's up with the vandalism claim???
