Can't Shift!!!

Just yesterday I replaced my primary cover and all the shift linkage because of a small wreck i had. Before It was able to shift no problem and now it will only shift between first and neutral. When I try to get it to second it acts like there is something blocking it from doing so. I havent taken the primary cover back of yet because im hoping its something i can fix from the outside, but thats probably just wishful thinking. Any ideas would be appreciated.[confused]

it probably is wishful thinking, but do you have pics of the outside of your re-install? maybe the linkage just got jacked up, but cant tell if we cant see.

your lever looks bent. It happened to a friend of mine on the forum and I bent it back and it was fine.
