Ok so I was browsing ebay and stumbled across this. First off does anyone speak Italian? This is the first place I have seen that has different color carbon fiber. input anyone???

Xtreme, you don't have a link in your post. If the site has italian with no option for english, google translate might help. I booked hotels in Italy last year and used it. Those carbon-kevlar parts look pretty sweet. I just bought a complete set of regular carbon fiber parts on ebay from a company in Hong Kong. Yes, I realize asian-made parts on an American bike is heinous... please don't judge me on that. I really wanted to have everything carbon fiber and it was the only source I could find to supply everything at a price I could manage. It all came to about a grand. I haven't installed the parts yet (that will be yet another post!) but I test-fit the air box cover and eyeballed the rest.... shouldn't be a problem. The finish is beautiful and the quality is great too. Can't wait to see the transformation. Good luck!

Yup, those are the ones! They are really nice. The company was good to deal with and I had them in about 2 weeks. They also gave me a 10% discount because I spend over $500. I almost never buy anything from ebay outside the US, so I was nervous about it, but the whole deal went very well.

That company will make any part in red CF if you email them. I have not tried this company. I have MDI CF pieces and for the money they look outstanding.

I would strongly encourage to get a twill weave. Do some googling if you are not familiar with the difference.

I have that airbox cover, the flyscreen, fender and seat cowl. I had the same experience as MustangGuy. They were very easy to work with and communicate well.

Thanks guys I cant seem to find the link I had again. I will check out the link above, I think colored carbon fiber would look sick.

I have dealt with the company MustangGuy and SEXT9 have dealt with, www.eccracing.com and my experience was the same as theirs - very good. Two summers ago I completely redid my Hayabusa in all carbon fiber parts. I ordered every carbon fiber part they make for the Hayabusa. Their service is excellent too. I had shipping damage on a part and they replaced it no questions asked.

or can i just paint my standard carbon with a transparent blue paint?

that almost looks like it was hydrostatic dipped and cleared. or possibly wrapped and cleared. but if its genuine blue carbon thats pretty badass

yeah this is original Carbon that seems to be tinted with a blue resin or transparent blue tinting paint, its not hydro dip or vinyl wrap.
