What paint did you use? That's what I was going to do but I always notice stuff on the front there and was afraid it might chip and I'd have to keep painting it.
If you repaint it make sure you use a quality paint. My Buell once was red, now is black. I'm now starting to notice red in places, like on the chin fairing where the clutch cable comes through, then into the Primary. The cable rubs the fairing and now the red shows through.
