can someone who knows about it or has done one tell me all the parts and part numbers i need, ive gone through 2 belts in 4months and refuse to buy another. if you can help me out please id appreciate it, thank you.

and i just realized i spelt chain wrong :[

yeah, i did noone has posted anything specific that i can find in search. im looking for part numbers. i know how to use forums, thanks though

yeah, my belt is rubbing at the front pulley. ive asked on the forums if anyone could help me figure out what that is and i got, "did you pt your rim on backwards?" if you can help me with that issue id be grateful.

I remember your previous post and the only thing that would cause a shift in the belts path would be if something moved. If I remember you mentioned that your rear tire had just been changed....... Correct? Have you checked your wheel bearings to see if they have shifted causing ythe rear wheel to offset to one side? Posaable tweaked swing arm? Possibility of the front pulley not being seated fully seated. In the end it comes down to something is wrong and a chain conversion will only mask the problem......... Not fix it.

will do. but, what belt? mine broke and im not buying another.

also i dont think it has anything to do with the front pulley, i changed the bar rim and tire and it started happening. is there a difference between the rims from 2002 to 2007 bikes, i have an 07 9sx and bought rims off an 02 9r.

do you have the old one?it would help to get an idea of the alighnment

lost both the old ones on the way home from work both times, but the belt pulls in at the front pulley and rubs on the transmission. again ill go take pics in a sec.

well i just went outside to take pics and noticed the front pulley dances a bit when i let it roll, how does that happen? not from changing a tire and rim i hope lol

dances as in its loose and wobbles?

i wish it was that easy. no, dances as slightly bent. and i found all the info i need for the chain conversion, i figure if i have to change the pulley and buy a new belt i might as well go chain. i like the security of a chain and im used to them anyway coming off a turbo'd busa as a first bike :x
