I am about to export my 2004 XB12R back to Australia. According to the manual, I need the following parts:
Headlight Assy Low Beam Y0428.02A8
Headlight Assy High Beam Y0427.02A8
Wire Harness, Headlight YH402.02A8
There is much discussion about the headlight recall - I think the replacement lamps have circular rings on the lens (yes/no?) and are part numbers Yxxxx.05AA.
Can some one confirm for me?
Also, I will want to replace the Instrument Cluster. I am an electronic engineer and I am pretty sure the difference between MPH and KPH speedo / odometer will be the addition or deletion of a small link on the Instrument printed circuit card. Does anyone know about this? or does anyone have a broken one I can look at - all the second hand ones are over $100 which is far too much to experiment with.
