So I thought I came up with a great idea to tin foil my headlight innerds. Turns out its a been there done that kinda thing. I did my self one better after not being pleased with the tinfoil results (however, the light was MUCH brighter) and came up with a more semi-homemade semi-permanent fix for dull buckets...
I just cut it, laid it in and squared it up with the square hole in the back...
Rolled 90* three more times. All that remained after that was four little wedges of un-taped parts that I just cut little pieces to fill. It looks less wrinkly than regular foil, and the tape claims to be good to 260*F.
And way shinier than what it looked like before I did it. I tried the low-beam with the tinfoil and it was much brighter in the garage. Haven't tried this one yet but it can't be any worse than plain old tinfoil, and will get me through the rest of the season.
