they dont sell a clutch lever at all. im making my own from the stock ones ,a drill, countersink, file, and some sandpaper and they look as good as the expencive levers for free.

Chevnet, I've been thinking about doing that too. I have an extra clutch lever hanging around. Post pics when you finish!

yes id rather have the real deal levers, but the stock ones work fine for me.if i can find a set cheap enough or have too much money i will buy them.but for know i have the same look for free..ill put some picts when im done.

here they are..i might give them a brushed finish or black. good enough for now.

Chen thats not bad at all... I was considering doing the same but figuring out a way to cut it down into a shorty so I stop pinchin my fingers when I only use 2

hey Chevnut... have you had much chance to test those out?
One noteworthy difference between the Pazzo's and the OEM levers is that the Pazzo's are Billet versus the Cast aluminum method used to manufacture the OEM levers. That makes the Pazzo's significantly stronger. That lever looks like it'd snap off if your clutch is stiff..

on a side note.... didn't I hear that the Buell clutch lever is essentially the same lever used on the Suzuki GSXR600?

Yes yoiu are correct, many levers have cross fitment, you cant get the clutch levers on some sites for as cheap as $8. But usually since you are putting the name Buell on the lever it will cost twice as much??? Dumb but most people dont know they are hte same thing.

So, how about these:
RACING Brake Clutch Lever SUZUKI GSX650 07 08 09

If they're interchangeable, is it conceivable that these would work fine?

that's exactly what I was thinking when I posed the question Icepop... anyone willing to give it a try and let us all know?

I went and looked at Pazzo, CRG, and Titax and they all have specific part numbers for Buell application that aren't used on other make/models. That could just be a formality, but I guess it's something to consider.

so the gsxr brake and clutch levers are bolth the same, and will bolt on like stock levers? yes i tested bolth levers ,no strength loss, you just have to drill the holes and countersink them in the wright places..if they do break..then i have a excuse to buy race levers!
