So I was having starting issues and battery charging issues...well guys..I basically had to tighten my terminal bolts 3/4 the way.

The bolts felt as if they were on correctly, but they were just nudged in.

Check them if you are catching a system voltage error, or a studder before starting because chances are is that you aren't getting enough juice from the battery, so check that before you completely replace the battery.

Well I am replacing the battery anyway because I bought a new one before I noticed this, I also think my battery's cold cranking amps are dwindling because I let the bike sit for 4 hours today and when I pressed the start button it had to turn over about 4-5 times.

There were no voltage errors thrown or anything. anyone have any words of wisdom on this? Or do these bikes just act up when they sit for this amount of time?

The battery on a tester read 12.83 volts.
