You know how some days seem too nice to miss some miles rideing but its only thirty deg. If you want to ride visit a home depo and pick up a couple of ti-vac suits. They are plastic coated paper made to protect your clothes. I use one under my normal cold weather gear to stay nice and warm.

makes since. I rode my bike form Louisiana to central Texas one time and it started out raining and then ended up being cold so I never took off my wet weather gear so it would help keep me warm since it blocks wind also.

That's so gehto,I love it![up]
My cold weather gear keeps me toasty,& is enough extra stuff to put on over my clothes.
The only thing I could really use is a warmer pair of gloves that really work!
I bought what I thought was an ok set&. Even got liners for em,but after an hour on a cold night ,it's too much!

Wal-Mart sells packets of iron-oxide, "hand warmers", to tuck inside gloves & boots.
+1 on the rain suit.

A few layers a rain suit and another layer does the trick for me. Will be looking into those Uly warmers. Man this site gets expensive:D

I ordered the 1125R riser bar kit from americansportbike.com and got the handwarmers with it!!! Putting them on tuesday:D

Your not lying about this place getting expensive. Too much good ideas and not enuff money for me to do some of them

I knew I made a great choice when I bought my Uly when I rode my Uly home in 34deg weather just as it started snowing. I still took the long way home! Heated grips are about the best thing you could ever put on your bike! You will wonder why you did not install them earlier.

Sure thing. So far I put on the dark double bubble windscreen, touring seat, XB lower pegs, exhaust turnouts, mirror extensions and tuesday the higher R bars with heated grips! Then I want to get a rear rack/saddlebag mount made for it. I plan on putting some miles on it this summer! I'll get some pics for you guys as soon as I can.
