Chin Fairing question????

how to you mount the stock chin fairing, with an aftermarket pipe. i have a jardine rt-1 i seen a couple buells with the chinfairing on with aftermarket exhaust , just trying to figure it out. i just bought a chin fairing and i figured id ask you guys first b4 trying.

I have a rt-1 on my 03 xb9r,and there is no differance in how it mounts.Schould go right back on.

well the thing is when i bought the bike it didnt have a chin fairing, nor did it have a stock exhaust system. it allready had the jardine pipe installed, i dont know if there are some brackets missing or what , ill go take a pic real quick n post it up.

there should be a bracket delivered with the muffler...

There are actually two brackets, one for the left and one for the right. Here is a picture so you can see what they look like. The brackets mount at stock locations using existing bolts, the chin fairing mounts to the brackets using the stock torx bolts, but you need nuts for the backside.

like i said i bought the bike used and it did not have the chin fairing nor the brackets. Mrdozer2you how much would you want for the brackets??
