Cleaning?

I own a buell firbolt 08 model. The front of the engine gets nasty when you ride it. What are some tips to keep that clean and what do you use to clean ity. Something that wont hurt anything else? Like taking clear coat off anything?

I use this stuff

It's Honda spray cleaner/polish. It works really good on your whole bike if it's not to dirty. I do my best to keep any water off my bike.

I am talking about the motor part some type of de-greaser but im not shure if it would hurt anything??

Simple Green. I use Honda contact cleaner.
