Clear alternatives taillight ?

Are these worth the money? Found one for $40 and wasn't sure if it's worth it or not. Is this a plug and play set up? Any help appreciated. Oh ya it's the regular taillight not intergrated.

No pic or link. Have you looked at getting an led tail light from EBR?

The regular tail light from EBR is much better than the clear alternatives. Its also DOT approved.

I have the clear alternatives one and have had no problem with it at all! Very easy install and no issues what so ever.

I have the clear alternatives. The bulb they sent with it was'nt a dual stop. So gay. And It looked pink. After I installed a led bulb and custom white licence plate light It was cool. Alot of screwing around tho.

Best bet is pay a littler extra for integrated. If I could go back in time that's what I would have done.

This may be dumb, but why do you need the CA taillight? My XB12XT has an LED taillight my riding buddies complain is too bright.

I have had a CA light for 3 years, no problems, but they are very dim.
I have ridden with many others and they all talk about how weak the leds are.

I upgraded to an XB Lights integrated light, way brighter for sure.

I love my CA light! I think that the led lights are plenty bright. My light has the smoked lens.

i have the CA clear lense and integrated light and get told all the time how bright mine is...i liked the look of the clear over the smoked is why i chose that but i see no issues with brightness whatsoever its a great light just plug and play ...get the integrated youll love it
