Clutch Cable Clamp

Hey in an earlier post you said the clutch cable clamp was to be recalled becaue its breaking on everyone(including myself). Was wondering if its official yet and if you might have a recall ref#? Just asking cuzz I had ordered a new one before I had read your post and now my service guys are giving me some BS cuzz i dont want to pay for a part that will be recalled.

It should be covered under your factory warranty of your bike. It is not an official recall or bulletin as of yet. It shouldn't be an issue with them as far as that, but if you already purchased it an are trying to get reimbursed for it, its probably not going to happen. There is a certain way they have to go about things when it comes to warranty to have it covered properly.
