New bueller here and started it off right, snaped the threads on the clutch cable at the primary cover. so got to replace it any recommendation on a cable brand or a length of the cable.

Just replaced mine with the OEM. The newer cables are Teflon coated for smoother action. I'm not aware of an aftermarket offering...

ebay

I don't believe these are oem, but way cheaper

the merchant is mrsuperdeals. i've known the guy for years and he's very reliable, excellent to deal with and his ebay offerings are good quality. he stands behind what he sells. i would not hesitate to try that clutch cable. he has sold alot of them and i see no complaints listed regarding them.

AND....don't break the NEW one! With the nice new fresh O-ring, just a TINY bit more then snug is PLENTY!

I am not sure HOW they are doing it on the aftermarket cable, as the 'R's and "X's are different cable OEM-wise. (Yes...learned this the hard way too!), but if they somehow made it as to fit both models and it works, that's great!

No they were less then half that price when I first found them. By the time I was ready to buy it they raised there price! Hence the reason why I went with Buellparts.net...their shipping and processing time sucks though, really slow!
