Well.... My clutch cable is holding on by a single strand. Squidbuellie told me that the 01-05 sporty cables will swap over but I'm curious as to if there are any others?

Thanks in advance felluhs.

(edit)Oh yeah it's an 03 9R and it's breaking right at the little nut that connects it to the lever.

Don't go for a ride!!!
I just gave my spare away sorry buddy I am sure someone will hook you up!

Mine broke and took like 6 weeks to get from HD. Fuckers. I have heard sporty cables will work but don't know forsure. My buddie had one custom made for a bike and cost him like 35$. I believe he found them in the phone book and it was actually a custom hydraulics shop. I sent a customer to a hydraulics shop for a hose (newer jeep wrangler brake hose) because they were like a week out. The shop made it for him on the spot for 18$

Hey I got Jakes , but apparently the bolt cables are shorter that the lightnings so I had to order one, So I can shoot the bolt cable out to you if you need. Let me know, I wont be able to get it to send out till this weekend though, so let me know what you want to do.

Sporty cables have a different hook up at the lever it's larger and so is the Lever. And yes many a time I have had to get a cable made from a Hydraulic Shop and some times they will use the outer Sheath or cable cover. MAKE sure to Save the [O'ring] for the Primary Transmission Case and if you use a Hydraulic company remove the O'ring and save it before you leave it with them..
I would Install a new one for longer use and NO LEAKS ! Lube those cables with Innox Cable Lube and you can't go wrong . No special tools required. The Bottle will last for years with just now and then use & the small pull out tube fits right inside the Cable Housing. About 30 Drops will do the Trick, every Oil change OR 5,000.miles depending on Lots of Traffic or lots of Highway Use. I would call on that cable Dusty it looks like an Sporster Cable.
For Some Reason A Lot of e-bayers selling things Think it will [all] work on the Buells. Not So! Look around and make sure to call To see if one can be make Cheap or if you would have better luck with the DealerShip.
(Yes) I know, make sure to lube the cable you buy to get the Longest Wear for more Riding Time. What little Innox Cable Lube gets into the primary will Not hurt the Tranny at all. Good Luck.*Jimi
