Hi there,

Went to take the bike for a ride and what up? the clutch will not engage. Don't see anything leaking. I pull the clutch and I imagine that it feels a bit loose but not sure. I don't see anything that looks out of the ordinary. Anyone experience this?

thanks,

jason

Check your fluid level. If it was low and recently filled there could be air in the line. Try bleeding your clutch.

Duh. Indeed almost nothing in there. I'm puzzled though 'cause it was working fine when I got home the other day and there is no sign of any fluid leak on the floor of the garage.

Thanks,

Dry as a bone. Topped it up with the dot 4 and did the bleed and it's working again. Bleeding it was a bit trickier than I expected. Lots of short gentle pumps seems to work best.. even after the fluid is coming out with no bubbles from the bleeder valve it's not ready until you feel that the tension is back in the clutch lever.

thanks for the help. Never had a hydraulic clutch before.

Having the same problem with mine. It is a clutch seal. Ebr sells the exact fix you need for a hundred bucks.

Yes thats the part that fixes the clutch weep (leaking from behind the clutch actuator cover ont the right side of the bike)
