What are some early signs and symptoms of the clutch beginning to wear?

With mostly city driving, stop and go, light to light, lots of shifting.... at how many miles would the first clutch replacement be expected and with what frequency thereafter would replacement be required?

I am the original owner of the bike, '09 XB12Ss currently at 18K+ miles.

Now that's pretty funny, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ !

By the way what does WOT mean ? I mean like, With Out That ?

You'll get hard shifts, up and down, or no shifts. It will not be easy to find neutral. You might miss shifts or the forks might get hung up between gears, you know, small stuff like that. If in doubt, change it, it's not that difficult.

When your WOT on the last lap and the checkers come out but you cant downshift easy when its time to pit in, and you aren't getting a podium spot, just stay on it and take a victory lap anyways because it's the last time your gonna ride until you replace the steels and frictions!!!!!

and speaking of clutches..........................................
