Hi

A couple of months ago i bought a X1 in very bad condition. The bike was running like garbage when it arrived to my house. Not driveable at all. I have done a lot of work on this bike and I have probably saved it from going to the scrap yard.

I have removed all the water from tank, new fuel lines. I have also flushed the injectors and cleaned everything in the fuel system.

I have changed ET sensor, O2 sensor, plugs, and a new to me Race ECM. Done TPS reset several times using ECM Spy. I have changed exhaust gaskets. I have checked and eliminated air leaks on manifold gaskets and on the heads.
I have also cleaned the throttle butterfly and removed the breather hoses for the engine. The cr is 10.3:1 on both cylinders.

The X1 is now fittet with a used V&H exhaust (with new internals).
A forcewinder intake with custom filter.

My problem is that the bike wont idle when its cold. No trouble idling when its hot (but the idle is not perfect then eighter). The bike now behaves almost flawlessly. But i still got some small hickups now and then. in a 2 hour ride i had 3 hickups. 2 at 3500-4000rpm and one at 2500rpm.

The front head have a cracked motor mount that i have fixed temporarely. So I have to remove the head this winter. Im going to take of both heads and changing all the gaskets.

Is it anything i have missed that can be the cause of this cold start idle and the small hickups?
I have played with the Maps and the cold start idle function in ecm spy with no luck.

Make sure your idle screw is turned up enough. Should be reachable on the left side of the engine between the jugs. I had to set my idle up when it gets cold and some times turn it back down when outside temp is hot.

The cause of the sympthoms was wrong race ecm eeprom file. I changed it from bueja120 to bueka210 and that solved all issues i was having.
