The Story:

This damn thing never ceases to amaze me. Over the weekend I spent about 3 hours posted up on a set of turns on Tantalus (0:50 to 1:12) where I finally got my body positioning 10x better with the help of a few knowledgeable friends from SportRiders Assn Oahu.

Once this happened instead of just talking to me, she (Sarah) started singing to me. With every pass I got faster, now I am seriously considering dropping the cash on a proper pair of pants with some pucks. Here's a pic of when I first started to figure it out:

Then, after it started to get dark I went to dinner with a friend and a few other people that showed up for the ride and ended up with in an abandoned Industrial park at about 10:00pm, with the two I didn't know on their R6 and ZX-6 trying to do wheelies, I was waiting for one to fall. Then, they started racing and wouldn't you know it they challenged me after a few trips down and back. So of course I obliged.

This marked the first time I have ever truly gotten on this this thing from a dead stop, and definitely the first time I have ever raced anyone. This is where the impressive part comes, She stood up ever so controllably through 1st, 2nd, 3rd (holy schneikes), and then even did a little 6 inch-ish bunny hop in 4th! Then, after stomping them I cam to an incredibly quick and controlled stop from 5th with absolutely no slipper-clutch action. Thanks to the art of rev-matching that was posted about on here by go cytosis, which I have been practicing every day since.

I was blown away with the amount of power this thing has to offer when you really ask for it. Not to mention how great this monster feels in twisties, even wearing those Q2s. Though it is admittedly much better since adjusting my suspension. Still going back to Michelins though, just a matter of preference.

Happy riding y'all. Sorry for the long post, just excited.

Yeah, I'm actually surprised I did, I kept having to let off so it didn't stand up too far. ha.
I'm sure I was doing something wrong.
Not one for drag racing but I couldn't resist that time. Now I have my first race and first win, haha! Then again it was against 600cc jap bikes.

No, I havent! I want one, funds just aren't right for it yet. Soon though, need new rubbers first.
