has anyone done,know of someone or have any info on an 1125 engine into an xb.

I seen some discussion on buelletinboard awhile back. The consensus was it can be done...but will cost some major money as nothing will line up correctly. The belt is on the wrong side and the shock on the 1125 is offset.

yea its cheaper to make an 1125 look like an XB than it is to make your XB an 1125

that includes buying the 1125

i got a line on a low milage 1125 engine for cheap.but not that familiar with the 1125s.im not going to take the chance on my xb unless someone else has done it.thanks for the info.

i saw the prototype at EBR. they hacked teh frame up and stuff was dangling here and there, but they managed to shoe-horn that rotax into an XB.

i would advise against it, but for R&D purposes.
just buy an 1125 off craigs list allready.
