converting XB forks to XB Low forks

Can XB forks be converted to XB Low forks by simply changing the internal springs? Or is there more involved?

The entire tube is different. You need to completely change the forks.

What xtreme said, the tubes are different (shorter). I know theres a few suspension shops though that can lower/shorten existing forks. Talk to a local suspension shop. I know these guys do it

You most likely won't get them as low, I think the SCG's are 2.5", you might get away with 1" to 1.75". The spring rate and valving I'm sue will need experimenting with where as the SCG stuff is correct from the factory, just- another thing to consider.

Best thing would be to swap forks and shock with someone, but there was a change in '05, so it's likely that you will have to swap your lower triple clamp as well.
