Hi Guys,

I have a 2009 XB9SX. I was looking at the Corbin seat, however the seat they manufacture is for the 2003- 2006 XB9S(X). Does anyone know if that seat would fit my 2009 model?

Thank you in advance everyone!

Sincerely,

Tony

I have the Corbin gunfigher on my 2007 XB12S. Dunno if that helps, but thought I'd give you any info I could. Its a damn comfy seat I might add too, and you can still move on it to throw the bike around too.

Thanks Lunaticfringe!

I know. The two posts didn't start out that way but surely are ending up that way.

Thanks again for your help! :)

Nobody knows if the Corbin Gunfighter seat will fit my 09? Anyone?

I can't believe Corbin charges as much as they do and yet they can't affford a business phone??

Here's what I know about my Corbin seat on my 09 R. I love the seat itself, but will never buy another one. I special ordered it from the Corbin Store in Daytona. The seat frame would not fit on the bike, until I eventually had to 'massage/drill/bend the mounting hardware. And when I spoke with the Corbin people on the phone it went even further down hill. Seriously, during one phone call a female told me to "lube the seat" to make it fit.

Can't tell you for sure if it would fit your '09, but I think it would. Fit my '07 just fine.

But I wouldn't buy one. It came with my bike, which is why I owned it, but I never used it. It effectively wasn't any lower than stock, and wasn't more comfortable for long rides, either. It also didn't fit right - I had to use a Dremel tool and cut off half the 'bumpers' on the underside of the seat in order to clear the rear subframe. Not good.

If I were you, I'd find another solution.
