Hey guys, I wanted to write a quick review about these gloves that I bought. I know everyone likes to hear gear reviews :) (hope this is the correct place to put it on the forum)

I am kind of disappointed with these.. After only 600 miles of Light riding (No rain, No hard twisty roads), they are starting to show significant wear on the left hand fingers. The pointer finger has a half inch tear along the seam (can be re-sewed) and the middle finger now has a hole in the center. The leather surrounding the hole feels very thin..

This is obviously from clutch use. You would think that they would have added a little extra material on those fingers..

Other than these problems, I really like the feel of these gloves. They fit my hand very well and I feel that I have a good solid grip on the handlebars. These definitely are not cool weather gloves. They have really good ventilation for summer riding though (no sweaty hands).

Unfortunately, I will not be buying these again. I hope the newer models have upgraded fingertips..

I hope this can help someone in their research for what gloves to buy (or not to buy)

I have the same gloves in Grey/Black I have a hole in them also... but the gloves are my favorite. Even over my $100 Joe Rockets!

Thanks for the review. I guess I will stick with my Alpinestar's. They are awesome and I have gottin way more than 600 miles out of them.

your lucky that you havent been caught in the rain with them on! both me and my friend have the black and gray ones. was caught in the rain one time for about 45 min and took out gloves off to find that our hands were now a dark blue/black color. definitly not quality. plus I had some explaining to do when I got home and the old lady thought that I had been finger printed over the weekend.

Haha Yea I guess I should stay out of the rain with them. It's not that they are bad gloves.. I just expected them to last longer. Gonna patch them up the best I can to finish out the season and pick up something else for next season. [up]
