Hi there -
I'm back with another random question. ('01 Blast)
Symptoms:
1) Only an issue when the bike has just been started and hasn't been run recently.
2) Bike starts and idles just fine.
3) Start to give it some throttle before putting it in gear. Blast starts to rev up and then backfires and engine is quickly reduced to less than idle RPM. Engine recovers and idles just fine. Repeat process 10x times.
4) After the bike can hold the throttle and doesn't backfire anymore it runs just fine. No issues. Might want to give a quick delay at a stoplight within the first mile but nothing further.
5) Once, after a particularly nasty backfire, the odometer started flickering.
Recently had the carb cleaned and rejetted; also have Dan's superboot.
