Could I lower my '03 XB9R with this spring kit?

why can't you cut your old springs down and replace? most of those kits give you shorter springs and nylon spacers, maybe you can diy tech it.

You may need more than just the springs to lower it. Check out the thread below.

Firebolt Lowering Kit

All questions can be answered by looking at that thread. It was put together by BPG, and he is an actual Buell Parts Guy, works at a dealership. Next time if you have a parts question feel free to post it in his section, he is always very quick to help.

Hope that clears things up.

You can't lower a XB9R without replacing the entire fork assembly. If you get shorter springs the tube will be too long.

What he said, but all that is listed in the other thread, I searched for lowering kit and it was on the first page. Search button is in the top left hand area of the page... just for future reference.

I just hunted down someone that had a xb9sl and we swapped suspensions (forks, rear spring AND KICKSTAND).
