Could I lower my '03 XB9R with this spring kit?

It's a rear spring and fork springs from Hyperpro for a 06-07 XB12Scg. Would it interchange and and lower my XB9R without any adverse affect on handling?

why can't you cut your old springs down and replace? most of those kits give you shorter springs and nylon spacers, maybe you can diy tech it.

You can't lower a XB9R without replacing the entire fork assembly. If you get shorter springs the tube will be too long.

I just hunted down someone that had a xb9sl and we swapped suspensions (forks, rear spring AND KICKSTAND).
