The idle trouble I was having seems to largely be gone. But still every so often it'll just quit idling and poop out. So I picked up a new crank position sensor as that seems to fix other peoples bikes with similar issues. Now I see that it's covered by a stupid plastic piece whos only bolt is next to the frame. It seems like there's no way to replace this stupid little sensor (that requires one bolt and an electrical plug) without rotating the engine. That's not something I'm prepared to do. Is anyone familiar with this? I'm thinking I might just return the sensor.
