Well as most know I am in the process of rebuilding my bike, so instead of dropping $100 on a new brake lever as my last one busted in my crash I want with some Ebay special GSX-R levers.

Here is a small slideshow and some thought.

Overall they are nearly identical, only difference is the clutch cable end hole is smaller which requires you to remove the plastic guard on the end, also the base of the JAP levers is actually bigger.

In a side by side you can see they are the same lever just small changes. Weight, feel, and overall look are great and identical to the CRG's.

Buddy of mine has those on his xb12...likes them just fine, although the black anodized sections have faded a bit and are reddish now.

Yeah, I am planning on taring them apart and getting them powder coated to match the frame color and get rid of the shine, I will have the black redone too.

sweet thanks dave xb12r

so will these work on my bike i got a 05 xb12scg
i need a new set anyway. if these work me want. :D

So one more question what exactly has to be modified? is it the clutch cable, lever, or both. Thanks in advance

There is a how to video that I made. It's up to Buellxb to post it. I'll let him know that he needs to post it

These are out there as well. Not sure if they're the same levers or not, but they're about $5 cheaper
