So these are what I have on my xb9 and they really cramp my wrists. I am 6'2 and hate leaning over like that. Are there any alternatives such as the stock bar or after-market bars that will help? I bought it with these bars on it so I' m not familiar with the super bars but have a feeling thats what I need

Pictures of the bars would help determine what bars you have. Crossroads and clip ons are two different bars

Ok, but not to be rude but I am well aware of the bars i own. And here's a link word for word of the "style"http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-prodshow/A9074.html. Any decent setup for a taller guy?

From there, whatever dirt bike bars you like. I picked up a couple of sets of bars last year, I had the same issue of it bothering my wrists if I went for more than a 15 minute ride. Ended up swapping out the suspension (was an SL model) and bars to get it where I wanted it. I'm not 6'2, but close enough. I think I used the Carmichael bend bars from ProTaper. I got a couple of different sets on the deal, whatever set was higher, I used those. Either way, it's back closer to stock and worked for me. I'd have gone back to stock if I'd have found a set of bars available at the time. If nothing else, search on ebay, there's got to be some around somewhere.

I have a set of stock bars that I'd trade out for the crossroads. Can throw in some additional $ as well. PM me if you're interested.

No offense, but you shouldn't be putting *any* pressure on your wrists.

That's why I took them off of mine. I'm not tracking it all the time (actually never on this xb9) so the riding position kinda sucks for street use. I guess they'd be ok for someone that's short and can really lay on the airbox, but my beer belly is in the way, so I'm stressing it as it is.

I too have the crossroads on mine, but I have the zero degree ones and they seem to be good for me. But, I'm 5'11" and 160lbs. Don't know if you have the -7 degree ones installed. From your link, they list both.

An option is to purchase just the zero degree handles, which would replace the - 7 degree handles. I don't know your location, if you were close, you could try mine just to see if this helps.

Sounds like you could go back to the stock handle bars on your bike. If this is an option, I have mine at home that I could make you a deal on since I'm not using them.

Sent you a PM.

I thought about machining my own risers. I mean if I sit like I feel like I should then I need my bars to be an inch higher. So I will experiment a little. I live in springfield, mo Johnny D. Geez everybody wants these crossroads bars!

Sitting up straight put pressure on my lower back after an hour of riding. I installed Crossroads and now my wrists hurt some times and my hands too. (Yes I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. NO ADVICE NEEDED)

I'd rather be leaning into the wind instead of it pushing on me.
Honestly though, I'm 46 yrs old and nowadays I even feel pain when I fart.

I am a beat up old guy (60+) ,who is paying for a missspent youth with more aches and pains than I care to mention. My right arm has perminent bend making it 3 inches shorter than the left. I,am 5.7 about 175lb,s and after trying different bars, think my crossroads are great, no strain on the wrists at all.Others I found pushed me back on the lip of the seat so I could not move around on long rides and got a wind beating at freeway speeds. Also as strange as it sounds I found that R footpegs are easier on my knees than the S ones.Just my 2c worth
