Well there are the bar end pieces that hold your throttle steady, will that work for you or are you wanting something that is electric cruise control like on some of the more expensive touring bikes?

I don't really have anything set in mind. I'm just pondering. The bar end type does it basically use friction to maintain throttel position.... I think somthing like that might work.

Any one have an experiance?

yea it does use friction as far as I've been told.

If you use the barend cruise control,you have to run your stock mounted mirror placement.Cann't run any barend mirrors,which I perfer.

Somewhere on here someone has the aprilia mirrors on their bike and it doesn't look bad at all.
