After modifying the tail and fitting an APH exhaust, I now want to start working on the bellypan. Just like the tail, I want to make it out of aluminum. The photo shows a carton mockup (flat) which is fitted to the bike and painted in photoshop afterwards.

What do you think?

Looks like a cool idea.
I think the tail looks good except for one thing that I would change.... that stock plastic brake reservoir sticks out like a sore thumb. You thought about a billet black unit? And maybe an alternate way of mounting it so it's a bit more "tidy"?

The position of the brake reservoir has been quite a headache, because there are not that many places to hide it, especially since I have no free space left below the seat. The small bracket still has to be powdercoated so it will be black. The reservoir itself is easy to change. It just takes some money ;)

I made a bracket that fit in between the rear brake master cylinder and the rear set.
I had to cut the original brake hose and I found the reservoir on eBay for $10.
I'll make you a bracket if you're interested.
I thought I had some better pics. I can take more if you're interested

I would be very interested to see how you've mounted the reservoir. can you maybe post a photo without the heel guard?
