I made this like 5yrs ago, sold the XB9SX before i got to install it. Planned on getting another Lightning someday, but wound up with a Uly then an 1125CR...then a different 1125CR (current). Anyway, i doubt I will ever get another XB Lightning again (only because I'm a little too BIG for them :-/ ), so the horny tail needs to find a good home.

I had it powder coated satin black, but it does have some light scuffing I remember from moving it around. I can un-bubble wrap it and post more pics if anyone wants.

Anyway...anyone interested?? Make an offer. If it seems to generate a lot of interest on here, i will take the best offer I get, say....by the time I come back from Richmond VA next week (the Sun or Mon after Thanksgiving).

If you want bids take it to ebay. Members here dont like people like you who are trying to get the most by getting other members to openly one up another. Normal cut tails sell for 45$ and unchopped tails sell for about that too. Twoguns gave you a really good offer. If you do not like it save face and have people bid on it at ebay.

BuellsRuell, have you made more of those before and sold them? Just curious, cos my Buell came with a set when I bought it but never knew where to find a replacement in case something happened (which it did; my entire license plate bracket ripped off it while moving, including my helmet lock - ended up replacing it with another tail tidy + license plate bracket).

cheers guys. looking forward to it. i was about to cut one up that was on the shelf, then i saw this ad.

i jsut finished slicing hte centre out of hte front fender, so i am only running the two fork protector parts. this tail will look good on the back of oompah, haning over her 240 fat arse.
