Sup guys!

I painted/polished my front pulley and am working on making a pulley guard out of a sheet of aluminum. I am still working on the design, I am going to do the design work in photoshop to experiment with different designs before I start cutting.

Here are a couple pics of the work I did today. I will post more pictures of designs as I work on them, I would love any input you guys have.

I like the shape you have on the mock-up. The lower part that covers the gap right behind the chin fairing closes up the bike well.
I "caged" mine.

Good old WD-40 and scotchbrite for most of the work.

I like that nuclear hazard sign! lol

Ok, I did some researching and really liked the one that American Sport Bike sells, so I kinda copied it a little. These are what I have so far.

I have a couple other ideas for designs, let me know what you guys think.

I really like the last one[up]....cant wait to see the final result. I would be interested in one:D

Thanks!

If I had access to a CNC I could probably make a bunch. I can create it in Pro/E if anyone wants a CAD file to do it themselves.

The next one I am going to try is a 2 layer one that continues the flow of the chin cowl.

So far all of it has been in photoshop, but I will take measurements and design it in Pro/E for whichever design I decide on. The last one would be made from 2 pieces of aluminum. I am still thinking of other ideas. If you guys have any suggestions or ideas let me know.

that last one looks sweet. do a shoop with it on the whole bike, like the first pic in this thread.

Yeah I will do a full bike picture with that last one. Also, I looked at a few other peoples designs and it looks like the bottom sheet of aluminum is slim enough to fit under the plastic and pick up that bottom mount, which will keep it simpler and cheaper.

Here it is, by popular request. The 2nd design with the full bike. It is a bit rough, it was very hard to get the perspective correct so it doesn't appear to match up perfectly, but you get the idea.

Makes me wish I had the SS tail, the lines would match up much better.
