I have an 09 xb12scg and I just put on a new D&D Slip-On exhaust. I have two problems, the belly pan doesn't fit onto the new D&D mounting brackets and the second problem is, after warming up the bike with the new exhaust I noticed the headers were bright red hot. Can anyone give me any advice?

headers red hot would be bike is running to lean (correct me if i'm wrong) you would need to get a piggy back system or re flash ecm. belly pan might have to do with out or modify.

I had the same problem with my chin fairing. I just kinda forced mine on starting from the front mount working my way back

theres no good piggy back for our bikes.

have to tune the ECM. or go for a ride for a while between 2500-4000RPM and see if it helps it out while the ECM learns the new airflow. keep in mind, itll only correct so much.

Thanks everyone! I was able to get the belly pan mounted, finally. I disconnected the battery and then hooked it back up. I was told that it might re-set the computer. It seemed to work the headers haven't been red hot so far. All is good, sounds killer :D
