Hi! I recently swapped my TI Force exhaust for a Torquehammer exhaust and updated/tuned ECM on my '08 XB12Scg. A couple of days ago my fuelpump fuses started blowing, but thats in another thread.... Anyway i was checking under my seat for any rubbing wires, bad ground etc, when i noticed a little device plugged in between the wiring. It's this thing:

So not thinking this really has any use anymore ,because of the tuned ECM, i'm thinking of removing it. Anyone know if this little device is any useful?? Experiences ??

ive run a twin tech tuner for years because wasnt computer savvy and knew no other way,im certain that the twin tech is not as good as a reprog ecm. it works for me but i am now going to get an emspy cable and try the tuning route. although my 05 xb12 runs very good, easily pulling some strong runners (harley) around here

Well i'm ripping it out nonetheless. But i would be helpfull if someone could post a picture of the wires on a stock ecm. The wires and multiplug. '08 XB12Scg. Thanx.

I have an 08 scg, before the pre programed ebr ecu was available. I tried everything you can imagine. To tune for my Jardine. I tried the following:Jardine controller[same as dobek],Did reduction of inside diameter to 1.5",with stock ecu,w/and without air box, with and without K+N.Also tried a divice that changes o2sensor values to alter air fuell ratio.[worked well but caused error codes].The 2 ways the bike ran strongest so far are:Stock pipe with valve held open and air box delete w/servo simulator. The other is the ebr ecu for jardine, air box delete, k+n. Hope this saves you some time and frustration.
