De-Badge ?

Hey guys I'm new to the forum but have been reading here for the last six months. Quick question, Has anyone de badged there air-box ? without repainting or replacing anything? . I ride a 2006 xb12ss I've pulled the tips up on the buell logo just to peak under there but i cant tell if its just adhesive or something a little more permanent ? any input would be much appreciated !

you will prolly still be able to see where it was. i pulled mine off last week getting ready for paint and even after the goo-gone, you could see where they were, and mine is an 07. in fact my painter said he really had to sand that area a lot to get through where the buell letters were because you could see them.

Iv head WD-40 and Tooth Floss is the way to go.

they will be the color of my acura when finished.

sorry the "yellow snow" look isnt for me.

talked to my painter today and he said even after primer you could see where it said buell.

he block sanded it and now, FINALLY, you cant see the buell logo on the airbox.

this is the color they will be.
