It took me a few years (decades...lol ) to realize 2 wrongs don't make a right and regardless of ones intentions (i.e. paying back Randys loser ass customers) putting out bad karma/energy does come back with interest..

The locations Randy noted should enable us to narrow down the losers cause I am sure there are alot of Buells in those geographic areas rockin a 'Hawk exhaust'

Man that sucks! I've been a lurker on here for months while I've been searching for the right bike. I plan on buying one in the next few weeks and one of the first mods I was going to do was send my exhaust to him if not already done. I have no problem paying up front but it sucks to see their were a couple scumbags who f-ed things up. Karma is a bitch guys...hope you get yours soon!

See, people are free to complain online about businesses when they don't get treated right. I think businesses should post the facts about customers who try to screw them. When they pay up, edit or remove the posting. Simple.

Just sad, Randy would give the shirt off his back, and the fact that he didn't make this post or even call out the indivduals while being wronged just reinforces the good person he is. I talked to Randy months before I even got an exhaust from him and received a ton of knowledge and no gimic bullshit in trying to get me to buy his awesome product. I finally got the funds contacted him again sent it out, got my exhaut and before I could test drive it I paid him. I knew I had a quality product at an excellent price with the best costumer service ever. The fact that he doesn't require payment til your satisfied and to top that if your not he will get you a stock exhaust back! So I don't think we need the other side of the story, like I said I waited til I had the funds bc no other place will you pay for a product after you get it. If they were not satisfied they could return and if something possibly came up they should contact Randy as he is obviously a very patient and understanding person. So no excuses in my book, just hope all of the attention will cause these scumbags to man up and pay an honest man for a quality product!

Randy, have you ever given a picture or description of your pipe's inside design? Or are you keeping that secret?

I'm selling mine off because I didn't really need it. But, eventually I want to learn to weld and make my own hackjob. I wanted to create some kind of front exit system, using the XB12 valve also. I just want to know what your pipe looks like inside, so I can get a similar sound instead of just more decibels.

The days of pumping your gas then paying are long gone! Sad to say, but its true.

Payment in full up front before you start the work is the only way to cover your butt and keep the dead beats from costing you $$$, which down the road might lead to price increases and longer turn around for a "true" customer. Sad to say.....but if your in a business to make money, thats just the way you'll have to do it.

I know I can't afford to get stiffed, so I won't start a build until payment is recieved in full.

But my fingers are crossed for you, maybe they are focusing there attention on more important issues at the moment ?!?!?

That's why I always take a deposit that will cover all my materials before starting a job. I never require full up front, but definitly a chunk.
