It was cool seeing you in Morrison. Kinda wish I had a normal work schedule, it was just luck that I was able to make breakfast this month. Crazy that you clipped a deer that morning, glad it wasn't worse.

I live in the mountains just west of Denver and I'm out wandering the canyons along the front range whenever possible. In the past 4-5 weeks, I've put around 800 miles on my bike.:D

Problem is, with my current job, I don't have a set schedule. Kinda crazy/annoying, work two days then a day off, then work 7 days, then 2 days off, then work one day, then 1 day off...................................................
Need to keep posting on here and try to get something together......
 
Yeah it was total coincidence that we ran in to you guys, which was awesome! And no shit what a scary deer encounter I had...little bastard broke some carbon on my oil cooler but I got her repaired as best I could!

Well hope to see you guys on the 7th. I'll be coming the back way (fun way ;) ) to Morrison but where is it again that you guys meet before heading to Morrison?
 
Cool seeing that many Buells in a parking lot isn't it..... I think they meet at Rocky Mountain Harley/Buell ??? I come from northwest of Morrison and wander some canyons to get there.

Gonna head up the mountain first thing next week. Saw about five different cops heading up 285 to Evergreen a week ago (on a weekday and at least three shooting radar), so gonna try something different, maybe head up past Black Hawk until I get lost.
 
I know it's kinda late notice, but the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow.

Saturday Oct. 20th

Where: Golden 7-11 (northwest edge of Golden, along Hwy 93)
When: Meet around 10:30am leave around 11am
Route: Paved roads with a lot of corners
Pace: relaxed?? Don't always obey the speed limit and I'll play in the corners a bit. Although, I have no interest in meeting some cops or laying my bike down.
 
Well one of these days we'll get it figured out! :D I went on Sunday, kinda south towards Canon City, just a quick 100 mile loop...
 
I'm kind of new to the site and just found this thread. I live down in Pueblo and would be interested in riding with some other buellers. Message me if you want to ride!

Been trying to get a ride together most of the summer, just hasn't worked out though. I live just west of Denver and am ridding along the front range all summer. There are a few guys on here from the Springs and one from Woodland Park though.
 
I had also been riding the front range for most of the summer and fall. Hopefully I'll hear of a meet I can make it to. Gettin a little chilly at 70 now...

70 is great ridding weather ???

Can't believe I'm still able to ride in the mountains at the end of November. Just been short trips cause 40-50 is a little chilly.
 
Would be fun to meet some other Buell riders as well. Been craving to ride with some folks who would challenge me a bit more. I live in the north Highlands and ride to Golden a lot for work, or just evening canyon carving in Golden. Can't wait for next season. Will be my first full year owning my 1125cr.

Ah.... I had just figured you were one of those fair weather ridders. 70mph was a little brisk in 45* weather yesterday.

generalcuz: Always been curious about the 1125, still haven't had the chance to see one in action. Most everyone I've ridden with this summer has been on a jap bike.

A ride sounds good! I am still the slow guy out of the bunch but I had a great time last time we all got together for a ride. I would definitely be interested in going.
 
I'm getting some new rubber on the rear today. [up] So I'll be up and running again. Oil change also planned for this weekend. I'd love to meet you again for a ride. I need to check my email but I believe it's the first Sunday of each month the Buell guys from Denver meet in Morrison. Maybe we can hit that up? IIRC 06xbss is one of the guys that meet up there...I'm sure he will chime in.

You know of any other Springs Buell guys?
 
Last summer, it was the first Sunday of the month ~10AM. Not sure if anything has changed, haven't been able to make it yet this summer.
