Okay so there are some turbo buells and threads on the topic around and we now know more info on the diablo... I want to complie as much info into making a reliable daily use xb possible so basically as close to the diablo as you can get.

So we know it used:
the aerocharger
Lowered compression pistons head work
a waste gate controlled by the ecm

Anyone want to help make a theoretical parts/machine work list? I think it would good to have one thread to consolidate everyones knowledge on this for anyone willing to try

Uh.... It looks like this

Oh since the most interesting part that I was unsure on was the ecm controlling the waste gate I did some emailing and viola :

It can and has been done by us, but requires special software not the same as the race ECM. It makes a huge difference in drivability, durability and more, so you are so correct. We are too busy at the moment on other things, but there are two prototypes sitting here...

It would be a cool build it you could build it that cleanly. Most turbo bikes i have seen do not seem to be that nicely integrated like that bike would have been.

I barely slept last night thinking of routing the picture helps alot knowing that they mounted the turbo under the bike where the first half of the exhaust would typically be. Makes me glad I have the s instead of the scg I originally wanted... more room for expansion

I wish there was a pic of the other side of the bike floating around so I could see how the headers were routed to the turbo

Hey, I've been looking into putting a turbo on my bike as well. Do any of you know how much boost the diablo was making?
