After doing quite a bit of searching and not finding a post dedicated to Dyno tuning I thought I'd start one, I have done a few mods including a full race kit, open air-box mod, ram-air carbon fiber air-box, breather re-route, ect. and wanted to get the most out of the bike. I live in Las Vegas and, believe it or not, do have TWO good dealers in the area. I've made an appointment for some dyno tuning time. I was quoted 4-5 hours, does this sound about right?
Going on the dyno in a couple days and any info would be great.

what do you mean by dyno time? just runs, or tuning included?

in 1 hour you should have more than enough runs.

Yes that is Dyno tuning, ECM re-map, TPS reset, is there anything else you would suggest I do while I'm at it?

why not just send your ECM to Al at ASB and tell him what mods you have and he'll tune it for $120

if they already did some tuning on a buell, they should not need 5 hours to do and install and fine-tune to your setup.

you're better of doing what dave xb12r suggests and get 1 hour of dyno-time for some fine-tuning. ;)

If you send your ECM to Al at ASB, you have to buy the directlink key for $199 correct? then he will tune it for an additional $120 or is this incorrect?

give him a call. contact info is on their website. he loves to talk about bikes. one time i talked to him for like an hour before i realized how long it was. the woman that works there is pretty knowledgable too

and i have talked to both they are very helpfull and sincere about buells I wish i could work for such a team[up][up]

I've talked to him. I'm sending him my ECM this winter to remap based on mods I've done. He really did seem like a nice guy. Took the time to answer all my questions no matter how dumb.

damn LV.

i wish i read this sooner.

i can tune the buells.

but if youre still set on the dealer time....let me know how it goes.
