Havent been doing much but working lately...I was told that Danny Eslick's 1125R won the Daytona sportbike series. Is that right? Just wondering if that will push the aftermarket to make items for us...

I was at the Saturday race in NJ. He ran well, considering it's a track that favors top speed. A championship for Buell is a massive step forward.

what size bikes was the buell racing against...seen a few in person there something to look at

The Daytona class is made up of modified 600 inline fours, Aprilia RSV's and Buell 1125R's. I expected the Aprilia's to do better but they had a lot of mechanical issues...

I am really going to be paying close attention to the Superbike series next year and the 1125RR. Top ten finish at the last race and they aren't even done tuning it yet. No published HP/TQ figures yet...but some are guessing in the 160-170 range maybe more. No one is sure, all we can do is hope. Go Erik Buell Racing!

I don't think you'll see much action from any 1125R's next season since there is not much of a company to back them anymore...[smirk]
