If you have never looked at these guys for after-market parts...you really should check them out. I love the tail kit I got from them but when the plate bracket metal fractured, Tom from Diesel-Moto got back to right away and without even having to make a point, he coordinated shipping a replacement to me the same day we chatted. VERY customer service oriented and he made my day. Check em out!

I don't see a whole lot of parts to be had here...so I don't know what's so great about them. I'm sure the customer service is great, but they have maybe 4 or 5 parts for the Buell. Would be really nice to find a place that has everything for the Buell line, instead of trying to find a needle in a hay stack.

Well they are not so great! It looks great yes but the freaking license plate bracket that attaches to the tail section keeps snapping apart. Same spot and 3 seperate times. Right at the same bend in the metal. What a total waste of time. Customer service can only take you so far if the product is not up to standard. Sorry for the rant but has anyone had a similar issue? Any thoughts on a different product?
Thanks!

I'm assuming they should be putting a bead of weld on the backside to make it stronger. Is it aluminum? And they're bending it in a sheet metal break? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. I'm sure they'll fix it. They're good about that stuff.

It would be preferable for them to fix it. I hope so but from what I have been told it's aluminum but the process they use makes it lighter and stronger and less rigid. It does not look like the are putting any welding on the backside and they even told me they changed the manufacturer and it still snapped. I had a weld shop look it over and they were not impressed and even had them fix it and that one snapped too. Could it be the bike? Too much vibration? The install seemed really self explanatory, so could I just be retarded?

I think you guys are right. I might just have something fabricated to match the hole sets of the original bracket and have them make it of something a bit more durable. Thanks guys!!!!!!
