differences in Ss and S?

sorry for all the questions guys, I am new to Buell and bikes in general, I love my XB12Ss just because it's like nothing else out there (ive only seen 1 other one around), just want to learn more about it - What are all the differences in the Ss and the S?

Welcome to the Buell family. The Ss has a 2" longer wheelbase. 1" due to longer swingarm, 1" due rake, I think. Also it has a longer seat.

Doesn't it have a Uly frame as well?

Yes, the Ss,Uly, and STT all use the same frame. Different rear shock between theS and the Ss.

Main difference is that the Ss has a larger fuel capacity, longer seat, and different rake and is slightly heavier. The S handles slightly better (theoretical and tested, but not personally).

I rode with a passenger for the first time yesterday (hes 6 foot as well) on an Ss and he still felt SLIGHTLY uncomfortable, but he said its mainly because he's used to harleys. So its up to you in the end .
