different gauge lights??

I was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the gauge lights using LEDs. I tried to search it but came up empty handed. I was thinking a cool cyan color instead of orange.

It's possible, but diffusing them is the problem. You end up getting hot spots instead of an even brightness across the face. Also, each LED must be resisted and pray you don't fry the board if you solder them direct.

i have herd of people using these from autolumnation. i think they are incandesant(not led) like the stock bulbs. don't know the exact size needed though.
