Just wanted to post a proect I did a few months ago. I was looking at air dams because my leg was always hot. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a fiberglass or carbon fiber one. I took of the engine gaurd on the right side by the exhaust and molded an air dam out of alluminium tape for hvac. When I got a desired size and shape I checked it or fit, molded it to clear exhaust and to catch air. I then began layering fiberglass on it till it was rigid. I used bondo to smooth everything on the outside ad sanded it so I could paint it. In total I think I spent about $50 bucks. It works great no more hot leg but now my butt stays warm next step is the heat blanket.

Very nice just checked it out. As soon as I get a plasma cutter that is a must have.

I just never ran across it before. Like you said diffrent styles had to use what I had access to. Now with the garage the mods are really going to start. muhahaha!!!
