Since its starting to get nice out, we all should plan a group ride sometime either up to skyline drive or any other good route that someone might know.

oh9bolt Sorry I would go Saturday but parents are looking at buy some property with a house on it in WV and want the whole family to go look at it because itll be for the family. Anyone down for Sunday? I know Whitts HD in Manassas is having a ride or we can plan something else.
This Sunday, there is a car show at Bowie baysox stadium in, of all places, Bowie, MD.
Not too much in the way of a good riding roads but it is a destination. Possibly get a few Buells together there. Proceeds go to charity. Put on by college park tuning group, has a lot of members from University of Maryland and the "terp riders" group should be riding that direction as well. Generally some cool stuff turns up!

So, my bike has been torn apart in my garage for the last 1.5 years, but I JUST ordered a new stator and voltage regulator. It's time to fix this motherfucker.

There is a route that I use fairly often that goes down past Bowie through northern sections of Calvert and Anne Arundel county.
Anne Arundel/Calvert County route down south.

Jwoody I live down there and do a similar ride when testing all mine out. your missing one very important road which keeps you off rt2 south of 258.
Dalrymple is how I get back to 260 then jump on 4 for a highway segment, then jump on fisher station with a few 30 mph corners.
I've seen a black 1125R & blue/white 12R in Chesapeake beach before, anyone here?

Yup, I run Dalrymple frequently. It gets back into Ch. Beach a much easier way without the crap near the water park or the front end of Ch. Beach as I call it. Or from 258 to Mckendtree Rd to Jewel then cross 2 to 423, than back there behind Harrington Harbor.
Another is after Harwood, come off on Polling House to Bayard to the first roundabout then down to 255 and Sudley all the way to 423. Some really sharp transitions in there. Single lane road(s), no real sight lines or extra run off room. Good stuff.
There is an XB9 I see every now and again, blue I think. There is one fella closer to the North Beach side that has a back 1125R near the boardwalk. I'm the only one with a CR that I have seen.

A dozen of us or so (Meetup Group) are going up to High Rock near Camp David/Thurmont if anyone wants to go. We are meeting at Ikea (parking area) in College Park 10AM sharp, kickstands up at 1030AM after safety brief and quick rundown of the route up. Afterwards we stop in Frederick or closer down south for Lunch and then split up afterwards. Should end around 3PM or so. PM for interest so I can add to the list.

Hey guys, Jesse, Zach, how ya doing? Been a while since Ive been on here, I wrecked the bike last year during a race at NJMP but Ive spent the past week fixing everything. The bikes completely torn apart right now but the last of my parts should be in today or tomorrow. I know this isn't really a group ride opportunity but next week (starting the morning of June 28th & finishing on July 6th) A friend & I are riding from MD to Fort Sill, OK & back, my little brother is graduating from boot camp. Anyway if anyone wants to meet up at any point or meet us somewhere to ride part way let me know. On our way back were going to ride the Tail of the Dragon before heading back to MD. Ill list our route/stops below.
Were not staying at each of these places, there just the main cities that were riding through on our way.

Fellow DMV riders: just a reminder ATGATT! I was clipped on the highway this morning and forced over my handlebars at about 30mph. I got up and WALKED away. Clean bill of health. All my gear saved me from worse injuries. Not a single scratch. Buell is a bit rough but she can be fixed. Front clip is shattered and will need replacement.
