do i need a front fender?

Bordsnbikes is correct, I rode for a couple months without mine. Every puddle would kick up water, mud and just general road dirt into my face, not a good thing.

i just wanted to take off every unneccesary component one for looks and two just to play.. but if it will spit shit up at me without it than i would consider that neccesary.

Well, your upside-down forks wouldn't last very long w/out the fender. Note that the design shields the sensitive, cleanly polished metal there.

So, ifin' yer serious about chuckin' the feneder, you'd had best be thinkin' of finding a new way to protect them...

I don't know.. those polished areas are already dinged a little from sh*t that gets kicked at them from the other side.. i said f'it and ripped it off.. i like the way it looks.. i'll keep you all posted of any disaster.

If the front fender were unneccesary they would have stopped making them back in 1903.

I believe, in Michigan, they are required by law. Check with your local P.D. first.
