Do it yourself muffler

New to buell, glad to be here! I've seen a couple of self mod-i-lations to stock xaust. Obviously sound seems to be the desired effect. I love custom and would like to change my xaust also, but an increase in performance would be preferable. What am I looking for for specs, pressures, rpm ranges,etc? Thanks

Buy GBalias or D-Adams exhaust, all the work has been done, and the dyno knows they work

+1 on the D_Adams. I don't have one, but the work he has shown us on here looks top-notch. I think Xopti has started building his again too

I like the looks of dadams and have heard good things. I went with the drummer ss prior to dadams building pipes. I really like my drummer plus it has been tested by EBR and they have made a preprogrammed ECM specific for that pipe!

I tried a barkers and a supertrapp on my bolt before I ended up on a 10" long polished SS, 1 into two I think 2.25 magnaflow with a porsche Cayman tip. I have the keda header and tuned starting with an 06' race map. When I just recently got my 12scg (the bolt is a 9), it came with a jardine. I think it sounds tinny compared to my magnaflow. The 9 just sounds like it wants to beat up the 12. To add to that I haven't quite been able to suddel on a tune I like for the twelve It seemed easier to find a happy medium on the 9 especially when the bike is on the hot side. I would say make some educated guesses. Get a 90° stainless elbow and play with it
