The picture might not do justice, but the gauge cluster seems to be crooked.... or is it just me?

So two weeks ago I put my bike down, and Today I finally got it out again. The bike runs GREAT! Its running amazing, handles great, looks great, but I could not help but think that my gauge unit its crooked, like to the left. Now part of me thinks maybe it happened in the crash, but there is no sign of damage at all. What do you guys think??

And if it is, what can i do to fix it, just take it apart??

Nah, they're like that, you just never noticed before. I wondered the same thing after I bought mine. Swore something was wrong, but I looked at it and it was mounted straight. The flyscreens are symmetrical and the gauges aren't, so there's a gap. I wish they would've just found a gauge cluster that was symmetrical.

My old 03 XB9 was the same way but it hadn't been dropped to my knowledge. [confused]
Didn't notice it on my SS or STT though .

huh, thats weird. You would think that i would have noticed something like that. But then again, before I wasnt looking for something that was wrong. It was bugging me all day [confused]

Hmmm I have to check mine to compare. Also check the position of your mirror mounting points in the first pic (I don't know how to properly call the holes where mirrors go). They're not aligned together - or I'm just seeing things...

No there not, I got the ultra low bars and I pushed my left controls forwards more so the horn didnt hit the airbox. Ill try and fix it soon. Anyone have an angle where you can see down the forks? Ill have to try and get a good picture.

Even with my stock bars and controls those mirror mounts never lined up. That's one of the other things that always bothered me. It's not as bad since I use bar end mirrors now, but I still notice it.

^^^^ Hahaha. That's funny I gotta take a really good look at my bike. I didn't notice these misalingnments...

I have to pull my mirrors off every time I get home to get it through the basement door so I didn't have the option to set them and forget about them.

haha! Well when I changed my bars I lost the caps, the caps made it a little harder to notice. When I do align them up, my clutch lever is higher then my brake lever, its uncomfortable.

so I took the bike to harley today, and it turns out I was right!!! my forks are slightly twisted :(

The alignment is good, and it really doesnt cause a problem, but it is annoying when you know something is wrong.

@angry but if they said it's safe to ride I'd assume they aren't trying to get your money, and that's why my dad and I take our bikes to a small shop with a guy who knows what he's doing

agreed, but this guy owns 5 buells, so im going to trust him. Im going to look into it and get some more opinions first.
