your R6 is a beauty, I made a vid racing with my friend a couple years back now (part of the vid giveaway in '10)

I sat on his bike (Pretty Hate Machine) and did not want to bother riding it as it felt way too cramped bent over with my hands on the bars..(fold me up and put me on it )

Katsumi is what i'm rolling with. And we did a 5th gear to my 6th gear roll on and the R6 still had it. It's definatelt faster but that is the only thing it does great. goes fast and turns sharp. the Buell however does so much more, it's the utility tool of bikes, so much more comfortable than the R6 but when my main intention is to haul ass through the twists the R6 is a scalpel

These are the pics the dealer took, and yes she is that clean in person. I took the mirrors off immediately and have just a small round bar end on the left side. cleaned it up and is enough to let me know if i need to pull over.

I had a 06 R6 but had to get rid of it cause I love to go fast! Didn't want to go to jail though. Rode a ZX-14 the other day and it brought back memories, but ripped the patch right of the back of my jacket!

I'm going to get the ECY reflashed. the throttle is restricted by 20% up top to meet noice and emmisions. that and an exhaust will look like 120 plus on the dyno.

Definitely get the memory erased. Which pipe are you going with? Is that an akropovic on there now? I had a micron on my older carb r6. Would shoot flames at night after loading the carb up and really hitting it. I have heard good things about the two brothers exhaust and they look good on that model R6 because it's the moto gp style exhaust.[cool]

that is a harris racing slipon that came with it. I am actually looking at just a mid-pipe to get rid of the cat and either leaving that slip on or possibly getting a CF akro slip. i wanna make sure i don't lose a ton of torque so i might need to ditch the megaphone for something more restrictive. i wanna keep it moto gp.

Yeah IMO ditch the megaphone and get a mid pipe. You need some type of exhaust for back pressure and scavenging purposes though to keep the bike running properly. If you don't have the scavenging effect you actually lose hp. The carbon fiber look on these bikes is awesome. It just fits. As far akropovich I haven't had one I just know they are expensive. All in all it looks really good. You could just go with a full race exhaust, power commander 3 and high flow filter. It would really scream after being tuned properly[cool]

Gotta save money for the Buell Project :0 ) still big boring slipper clutching and eventually turboing a buell. just selling mine so i can start from scratch and buy stuff pieces at a time. the motor will be first.
